Cancer Genetics Branch
Investigators in this branch study the genetic changes that lead to the initiation and progression of cancer.
Genetic Disease Research Branch
The focus of this branch is to identify the genetic abnormalities responsible for human disease.
Genetics and Molecular Biology Branch
This branch uses molecular genetics to identify disease-associated gene defects and to study gene transfer techniques.
Genome Technology Branch
Investigators in this branch develop and implement technologies for performing genome analysis.
Inherited Disease Research Branch
This branch develops and applies tools in statistics, genetics and computer science to locate genes that contribute to disease.
Medical Genetics Branch
This branch uses clinical genetics to study novel human development disorders, and includes genetic counseling and bioethics sections.
Social and Behavioral Research Branch
This branch translates genomic discoveries into interventions that improve health-related decisions and outcomes, and investigates the social, ethical and public policy impact of genomic research.
