The National DNA Day Online Chatroom was open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern on Friday, April 23, 2010, staffed by experts from the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) and genetic counselors, clinicians and experts from around the nation. Students, teachers and the general public chatted in real time with some of the top minds in the field of genomics research.
