Postdoctoral Position: The Cancer Genomics Unit of NHGRI's Cancer Genetics Branch

A postdoctoral position is available in the Cancer Genomics Unit of the Cancer Genetics Branch at the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), National Institutes of Health (NIH). The lab employs advancing tools of genomics and genetics for a better understanding of genetic diseases. This position is to study molecular diagnosis, pathogenesis and disease process in an inherited bone marrow failure disorder, Fanconi anemia (FA). FA is also a cancer predisposition syndrome, with increased incidence of acute myeloid leukemia and head and neck cancer. The lab has access to state-of-the art DNA and RNA sequencing as well as genotyping facilities.

Candidates should have received a Ph.D. in a related discipline with strong background in molecular biology or genomics and genetics.
