NHGRI's Annual Short Course Begins August 3

NHGRI's Current Topics in Genomic Research 2008, the "Short Course," will be held August 3 - 8. The Short Course is an intensive, six-day course designed to update biology instructors, as well as other instructors and researchers in related disciplines, on genomic science.

The faculty consists of leading NIH genomic researchers, including the NHGRI director, Dr. Francis Collins. The course features extended tours of working laboratories at the NIH, structured lectures, and highly interactive sessions. (Find out more)

	Medical Biochemical Genetics Residency Program A one-year residency program that trains highly motivated physicians to diagnose, manage and counsel patients with metabolic genetic disorders.
