The GTEx Project Community Scientific Meeting is an event open to the scientific community interested in learning more about the project and data, and/or scientists who are already using the data in their research. The meeting will highlight the final dataset and data types available, the tools and methods developed to analyze these data, and the wide range of analyses, studies and insights gained from using the data.

The meeting will also highlight relationship of the project to large scale projects and datasets, such as ENCODE, GWAS, BluePrint, FANTOM and other cancer projects. Strong emphasis will be placed on showcasing a range of scientific presentations that use GTEx data.
