Become an official member of the National DNA Day Network by planning and registering your event. Your event will be listed on the National DNA Day Network Map and offers an opportunity to expand your event's reach and collaborate with other organizations in your area or nationally.
If you are interested in hosting a DNA Day event but need ideas, we encourage groups to work within the existing framework of your programming and find a way to involve genetics and/or genomics.
If you do not have an established outreach or education program, consider the following: a topical seminar, a community engagement event, a Science Café, an outreach program at a local school, setting up a Skype visit between a scientist and a classroom, or more ideas based on lessons and activities from our Get Activity Ideas page.
