Privacy Requires a parent, legal guardian, or student, if the student is 18 years of age or older, to provide informed written consent before the collection of individual student biometric data, including DNA. Establishes additional protections for personally identifiable information, which includes biometric data, maintained by schools. Effective 7/1/2018.
