Health Insurance Nondiscrimination This bill, as substituted by the Senate, prohibits the treatment of genetic information as a preexisting condition in the absence of a diagnosis and prevents the establishment of rules for eligibility or continued eligibility on the basis of a health status-related factor, including genetic information, in health insurance.
