On October 15, 2018, the National Academy of Medicine elected Dr. Charles Rotimi, CRGGH Director, as one of its new members.
Election to the Academy is one of the highest honors in health and medicine and recognizes both achievement in the field and dedication to service of the recipients. The achievements warranting Dr. Rotimi's inclusion in this esteemed organization were described as follows:
