The Inter-Society Coordinating Committee (ISCC) held its first in-person meeting on September 19-20, 2013, in Bethesda, Maryland. This meeting focused on the role of the ISCC in genomics education, the status of the ISCC's current working group initiatives, and the long-term sustainability of the ISCC.
