The Graduate Partnerships Program fosters the professional development of future scientists by providing the opportunity to perform research in National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) laboratories.
The four year training program is open only to those who have already completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
About the Course
Graduate or medical students at accredited U.S. universities or participating foreign universities work directly with top NHGRI researchers to perform all or part of their dissertation work, an integral part of their academic training.
Eligibility for the GPP depends on whether the graduate student is enrolled in an individual partnership or an institutional partnership. Students enrolled in institutional partnerships must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Students enrolled in individual partnerships can be U.S. citizens, permanent residents or foreign nationals currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program.
