A cytogeneticist is a geneticist who specializes in the study of chromosomes and the structure and function of the cell.
Narration
A cytogeneticist describes an individual who can take cells from a person and use their microscope to produce a karyotype - essentially all the chromosomes from an individual are lined up in a picture. In using this technique you can detect whether or not the chromosomes are normal or abnormal.
