This discussion centered around several Grand Challenges, such as to "Meet the educational and professional development needs of K-12 educators and healthcare providers to increase the awareness and understanding of genomic information." This was an important opportunity for educators to influence the future landscape of genomics research and its intersection with society, education and community engagement.

This webinar included a brief introduction by NHGRI staff followed by a moderated discussion open to all webinar participants.
